The Sports and Youth Welfare Department organized the Sports Talent Recognition and Encouragement Ceremony on December 18, 2024, at the T.T. Nagar Stadium, Bhopal. The event was held in the distinguished presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Cooperation, Sports, and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang, along with other eminent citizens.

During the ceremony, 1,786 athletes were awarded an encouragement grant of ₹25.389 crore. The athletes were also provided with sports kits.

The program honored the gold medalists from state-level competitions. These included Himanshu Kushwaha in weightlifting, Yuvraj Rao Dhadge in Mallakhamb, Dhruv Dubey in Handball, Tilak Lot in Softball, Ujjwal Kumar Prasad in Judo, Anvi Khanduri in Swimming, Shruti Pal in Handball, Rahi Pathak in Taekwondo, Shreya Yadav in Judo, and Khayati Pandey in Pencak Silat.
