On 12th August 2024, the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare organized the 'Tiranga Yatra,' a patriotic initiative that witnessed the participation of over 5 lakh youth across the state. This event aimed to promote national unity and instill patriotism among the youth. The main event in Bhopal was held from Prabhat Square to the Railway Station, where over 5,00,000 youth participated, joined by Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang, and two-time Olympic bronze medalist Shri Vivek Sagar Prasad.
The yatra commenced at Prabhat Square with the youth enthusiastically waving the national flag, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Patriotic songs and slogans amplified the energy, culminating in a grand conclusion at the Railway Station. Distinguished guests addressed the youth, and Shri Vivek Sagar Prasad shared his inspirational journey, motivating the participants. The 'Tiranga Yatra' successfully spread a message of national pride and unity, fostering a sense of responsibility and patriotism among the youth.
