Information about the Scheme:

Under this scheme, short-term training programs ranging from 90 to 330 hours are conducted in various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). Generally, the scheme is initiated every three months, and advertisements are issued for the same.

Procedure to Avail the Benefits of the Scheme:

Advertisements are issued through the Directorate via the Commissioner of Public Relations. This scheme does not provide any scholarship. The training fees are as follows:

• 120 to 180 hours: ₹1,000/-
• 180 to 270 hours: ₹1,500/-
• More than 270 hours: Fee varies.

Eligibility Criteria for Availing the Benefits:

1. The educational qualifications vary depending on the trade, ranging from 5th to 12th grade.
2. Selection is based on merit.
3. The minimum age for enrollment is 14 years.
