Information About the Schemes
The Madhya Pradesh Government, under the Department of Technical Education and Training, has introduced a scheme for Scheduled Caste students studying in government or government-aided polytechnic colleges under the Directorate of Technical Education. The scheme provides:
- Free training for degree and diploma courses.
- Free facilities like hostel, mess, stationery, drawing materials, uniforms, etc.
- A stipend during training.
The objective is to provide better training and employment opportunities for students from this category.
Process to Avail Scheme Benefits
- Applications are invited from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students for these training programs.
- Selected candidates are provided free training, hostel accommodation, meals, and training materials.
- Scholarships are also awarded to eligible students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe students are eligible.
- Students must have completed a degree or diploma in the desired branch of engineering from a recognized government institution.
