Information About the Scheme

To avail the Chief Minister Kalyani Marriage Assistance Scheme, the applicant must submit an application in the prescribed format along with the necessary documents to the office of the Collector, Joint/Deputy Director, Social Justice & Disabled Welfare in the district where the marriage certificate was issued, even if the couple does not reside in that district.

Process to Avail Scheme Benefits

1. The applicant must submit the application along with required documents in the prescribed format to the office of the Collector, Joint/Deputy Director, Social Justice & Disabled Welfare in the district where the marriage certificate was issued.
2. The office must provide a receipt of the application to the applicant.
3. Applications for the Kalyani Marriage Assistance Scheme will be recorded in a register and the documents will be filed for audit and safekeeping.

Eligibility Criteria

• The bride and her husband must be native to Madhya Pradesh.
• The bride must be at least 18 years old, and the husband must be at least 21 years old at the time of marriage.
• The bride must not be a taxpayer.
• The bride must not be a government employee/official.
