Under the scheme, students from the Scheduled Caste category who secure the highest marks in Class 10th and 12th board examinations at the state level are honored with the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Meritorious Student Award. The scheme

Under the scheme, students from the Scheduled Caste category who secure the highest marks in Class 10th and 12th board examinations at the state level are honored with the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Meritorious Student Award. The scheme includes:

  • Class 10th:
    • The top-ranked male and female students in the state are awarded ₹20,000 each.
    • The second-ranked male and female students are awarded ₹15,000 each.
    • The third-ranked male and female students are awarded ₹10,000 each.
    • Additionally, the top 50 male and 50 female students at the state level are given ₹1,000 each.
  • Class 12th:
    • The top-ranked male and female students in the state are awarded ₹30,000 each.
    • The second-ranked male and female students are awarded ₹20,000 each.
    • The third-ranked male and female students are awarded ₹10,000 each.
    • Similarly, the top 50 male and 50 female students at the state level are given ₹1,000 each.

Process/Method to Avail Scheme Benefits:
Eligible applicants must submit their application forms in the prescribed format through the Assistant Commissioner/District Coordinator of their district to the Office of the Commissioner, Scheduled Caste Development, Madhya Pradesh.

  • Applications are free of cost and must be verified by the competent authority (District Collector/Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development/District Coordinator, Tribal Welfare, or the Commissioner’s Office, Scheduled Caste Development, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal).

Conditions to Avail Scheme Benefits:

  1. Students from the Scheduled Caste category who secure the highest marks in Class 10th and 12th board examinations at the state level (1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions) are eligible.
  2. Additionally, the top 50 male and 50 female students at the state level are eligible for benefits.
