Research Fellowship for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Students for Ph.D.
Under this scheme, native students of Madhya Pradesh who are pursuing research (Ph.D.) in any university in India.
Information Related to the Scheme:
Under this scheme, native students of Madhya Pradesh who are pursuing research (Ph.D.) in any university in India and have registered after an interview with the Research Degree Committee of the university (with the registration certificate issued by the university) are eligible for a research fellowship. The fellowship is provided at the rate of ₹8,000 per month per student for a maximum of 3 years, provided they fulfill the required qualifications.

Advertisements are published through newspapers at the beginning of each session, detailing the complete application process. Additional information is also available on the departmental website.
Conditions to Avail Scheme Benefits:
- Registration for research work in any university in India is mandatory, and the student must be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
- The student must have secured the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in their undergraduate degree.
- Caste certificate is required.
